Unfortunately Runde Park fell victim to vandal’s this last weekend. Tega Cay officials sent out the following message to Tega Cay Residents:
Over the weekend we had a very unfortunate incident occur at Runde Park. Someone spray painted racial slurs and other obscenities on the press box, dugouts and benches. This is a very serious issue and City staff is not taking this lightly. We have always had minor vandalism at the parks, but nothing of this magnitude and certainly not something with these racial undertones. We are offering a $300 reward to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who committed this heinous act.
