I would like to see Tega Cay continue to move forward in the new direction set in November, and to begin to climb out of the debt we have acquired. I will take an active role to increase and improve communication and accountability for our City. I have been attending City Council Meetings and Planning Commission Meetings for the past several years. I feel the experience I have gained as a result of that participation, along with my life experience, and what I have learned and experienced living here in Tega Cay have prepared me to represent you, the citizens of Tega Cay.
I am running on an agenda of bringing Tega Cay back to her Citizens: communication, accountability, recreation, reputation, consideration.
I feel we need to better manage our budgets and reduce our expenses. I advocate fiscal responsibility and a stronger reliance on the tremendous breadth of resources and amenities we have in Tega Cay now and how these can play a part in improving the value of living here. We need to manage our current annexation and not undertake more acquisition.
