A message from Ben Ullman Tega Cay Talk
To my social media peeps, local bloggers, and contacts at the media outlets:
I just wanted to check in and let you know about some upcoming events in Tega Cay. (I have spoken to many of you already, at various stages of the planning, so apologies if some of this is rehashed info …)
The Armenians are coming!
Tega Cay will host 6 visitors from Armenia for 8 days (2/29 – 3/7), while they participate in a program with the theme “Blogging for Democracy”, which aims to help them build their professional networks and learn from the ways which Government and non-governmental organizations in the United States use media and PR to influence and inform the public.
You can help make their visit great!
In addition to daytime visits to Charlotte-area businesses and organizations such as the Charlotte Chamber, The Charlotte Observer, The State (Columbia, SC), The DNC and the PPL, we will be hosting some casual network-and-learn events in the Tega Cay area.
Wednesday 2/29 ?Welcome event – Event Cancelled
Sunday 3/4 – Blogger Picnic
With high hopes for pleasant weather, we anticipate a small gathering at a Tega Cay Park to talk shop, enjoy the outdoors, and grill up some goodies.
Monday 3/5 – Cocktail Hour at Casual Water (@ TC Golf Club)
Blogging for Democracy
Thanks for your time and attention!
Hope to talk to you more soon,Ben
