Saturday April 9th is the 3rd annual Tega Cay Safety Day sponsored by the city?s Public Safety Committee.
Piedmont Medical/EMS, Tega Cay Volunteer Fire Department, Tega Cay Police Department, the Catawba Power Squadron, the Poison Control Center and the Health Department will be on hand with many other teaching you and your children about safety. There will also be a bicycle rodeo and all children who participate will receive a free bike helmet.
It will be held on 4/9 from 9-1pm at Grace Presbyterian Church.
- The Tega Cay Fire Department will provide the Smokehouse which gives kids and their parents a hand-on opportunity to be in a simulated burning house.
- The Tega Cay Police will provide safety information.
- EMS services and a life flight helicopter.
- Boating safety and health services will also be included.
- Piedmont Medical Center will hold a bike rodeo for kids, with bike helmets given to all participants.
