Published February 16, 2011 | Long time Tega Cay City Councilman Larry Harper resigned his seat last month, so its time to fill the empty council seat. The election date is set for April 19th 2011. All usually Tega Cay Elections Poles should be open 7am to 7pm to vote.

Happy New Year to all in Tega Cay! What a wonderful holiday season we have had. We began with our annual Tree Lighting. This year we were fortunate to have the Fort Mill High School Concert Chorus, under the direction of Mr. Michael Dove, put on a tremendous performance for all who attended this annual event. With snow to cover our hills on Christmas and a wonderful New Years Eve Party hosted by the Tega Cay Lions Club, we certainly have enjoyed winter so far and look forward to good things to come in 2011.

Published December 17, 2010 | The City of Tega Cay sent out a 2nd notice today about a water and sewage problems. Today’s notice states:
NO SWIMMING ADVISORY
All residents living in the Neptune’s Landing area of Tega Cay that due to a frozen valve at the waste water treatment plant, partially treated wastewater entered Lake Wylie through a drainage ditch. They are issuing a no swimming advisory effective today. The company is collecting water samples from the lake and once the swimming ban has been lifted, the company will notify the residents.
