There are so many great things going on through the holidays, we thought it might be helpful to give you a listing of what’s happening!

Fri., Dec. 5th - Arbor Day Celebration - Tree Planting and Dedication Ceremony in Memory of Rachael Lutz

Sat., Dec. 6TH - Tega Cay Holiday Fest - Glennon Conference & Community Center

12:00 - 8:00pm - Craft Fair in the Glennon Conference Center (upper level)

12:00 - 4:00pm - Kids Train Ride (provided by Piedmont Medical Center)

12:00 - 4:00pm - Ask the Doctor (provided by Piedmont Medical Center)

12:00 - 4:00pm - Flu Shots - $10 at Piedmont booth

4:00 - 7:00pm - Hot Dogs, Chips and Water for $2.00 - Lower Level

6:00pm - Mayor’s Christmas Poem and Tree Lighting

6:15pm - Santa Arrives

6:30 - 8:30pm - Santa Fireside Photos

Kids will make their own Tree Ornaments with their photos!  Cookies & hot chocolate will be served.

For children ages 12 and under.  Santa Clause will be there too!

Mon. and Tues., Dec. 8 & 9 - TC Lions Club Annual Christmas Party for Senior Citizens of York County.

TIME:  1:30 - 3:30pm

WHERE:  Grace Presbyterian Church (approximately 350 - 375 attend)

Needed are small wrapped 3″ x 5″ cakes (NO nuts) and small items for bingo prizes and door prizes.  Every Senior who attends the party receives a cake and at least one gift.  They appreciate anything and there are usually more women than men who attend.  If you’d like to contribute an unwrapped gift, there is a list at the Admin Office.  We need the gifts no later than Friday, December 5th

Tues., Dec. 16th - Annual TCPD Guided Light Tour and Contest for Best Lights

TIME:  6:00 to 9:00pm

WHERE:  Beach & Swim Center

Please feel free to bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Happiness!

Our Tega Cay Police will be driving vans throughout the City along with help from the staff at Kids-R-Kids to enjoy all the Holiday Lights!  Please come and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies at the Beach & Swim Center either before or after your tour.  If you would like your home or street to be included on the tour, please contact Capt. Nelson at 548-0340.  We can’t guarantee every home will be on the tour, so get your neighbors involved.  The judging will be done by those on the tour!

Sat., Dec. 20th - Santa Clause is Coming to Town on the TC Fire Truck

TIME:  9:00am

WHERE:  All over the City

Santa will be riding through the City on the fire truck!  Listen for the sirens and go out and wish them a Merry Christmas!

WHERE:  Glennon Conference Center

COST:  $40 per person/$75 per couple.  Includes Cocktail party (2 drink tickets per person), DJ, Champagne Toast @ Midnight.

Toys for Happiness

The Tega Cay Police Department is collecting (unwrapped) toys for Toys for Happiness - for children of all ages.  EVERYTHNIG collected will be distributed to children in York County!  Boxes will be located at the Tega Cay Police Department and the Admin Office through Friday, December 19th!
