Last Week To Sign Up For Fall Youth Sports in Tega Cay
The Tega Cay Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of youth and adult sports programs. This is the last week to sign up for fall 2008 youth sports like:
- Baseball
- Football
- Soccer
- Softball
Lacrosse instruction and scrimmages is a new addition to the program. The deadline for online registration is Friday August 8th. For more information click to go to the Tega Cay Rec website
Tega Cay golfer enjoyed outing
After the first day of the U.S. Senior Open in Colorado Springs, Colo., Tega Cay’s Rick Cloninger was in the thick of the chase, hanging close to the leaders even though he’s still considered an amateur.
Council, residents in same boat on marina
Talk about a peaceful protest. A roomful of Tega Cay residents gathered at last week’s city council meeting to speak against a proposed second marina, but they never needed to.
3rd Free Tega Cay Concert is August 2, 2008
Tega Cay is a wonderful place to live, work, and play. A great example is the City’s free “summer concert series” Every summer the city hosts several free concerts featuring local bands, food, and games for the kids. The concert is at Runde Field
